Customer Service

Manly Council’s Customer Service Centre in the Town Hall, 1 Belgrave Street, Manly provides a friendly and efficient service from our one-stop-shop, during business hours 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday.

The Customer Service Team has access to a wide range of information on Council services, activities, products, events and the local area. By utilising various technologies the staff can answer customer enquiries and complete their business transactions in a wide range of areas including those listed below.

The foyer area in Town Hall provides a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for the interaction and informal meetings between members of the public and staff.

A Liaison Officer is also available between 9 - 11am Monday to Friday, for free 15 minute meetings without an appointment, for all development application enquiries.   Duty Planners from the Environmental Services Division are available for free 15 minute meetings, with appointments, with development applicants and objectors from 9 - 11am Monday to Thursday.

Council can offer alternative and perhaps more convenient methods to customers of undertaking business with Council that may reduce the need to attend Council in person during business hours.

Many Council forms and information on events, development applications, Council business papers and current issues can be found on our website.  The Customer Service Staff are happy to offer advice to Customers as to the choices available in the way they do their business with Council.

A computer with a printer is provided in the foyer for customers to access Council’s website and e-services for payments of rates and invoices.
