Expressions of Interest for an Independent Representative on Council's Internal Audit Committee
Manly Council is committed to open and transparent governance that meets the highest community expectations. To enhance the governance framework Council has established an Audit Committee to comprise both Councillors and independent representatives.
Council is seeking to appoint two (2) interested independent members with appropriate skills and qualifications to the Audit Committee. The key role of the Committee is to provide independent assurance and assistance to Council on the risk, control and compliance framework.
If you are interested please read the Information Pack and make anApplication Form provided in the pack. All members of the committee are required to comply with Council's Code of Conduct. Applications must be received by at Council by 4.00 p.m. Monday, 7 September 2009.
