Blessed by a unique terroir and some of the Hunter Valley’s most distinguished ‘old vine’ vineyards, Glandore Estate wines are fastidiously made. Each year only the very best parcels of fruit are selected and handpicked. The wines are handmade, delivering intensity of flavour while combining complexity with a rare level of finesse.

Under the stewardship of winemaker Duane Roy, Glandore Estate has quickly established a reputation for innovative winemaking and best practice. By recently introducing new varieties to the Hunter, including Tempranillo and Savagnin, Glandore continues to demonstrate a keen focus on producing contemporary wine styles designed to meet, satisfy and expand the evolving tastes of modern wine consumers.  Philip Shaw Wines

Phillip Shaw Wines

The dream started long before the acquisition of Koomooloo (vineyard site) in 1988. Philip spent years investigating and exploring many regions within Australia until by accident Philip noticed the undulating roll of the countryside when flying over the Orange region. After a few days of intense research into this highland area he returned the next week to find the region had a near-perfect balance of elevation and sunshine.

The adventure began when Philip purchased the land for his Koomooloo vineyard in June 1988. In close proximity to the region’s highest peak, Mt Canobolas, Koomooloo vineyard rises to an altitude of 900M with red loam soils over limestone.

Tulloch.jpg

Tulloch Wines

The Tulloch story began in 1895 when John Younie Tulloch accepted an unusual settlement of a debt, a 43 acre property at Pokolbin in the Hunter Valley. Tulloch took an immediate liking to the property and the five acres of neglected vines it contained. He set about rejuvenating the vineyard and so began the proud family tradition that continues today.

In 2013 The Tulloch Team will be bringing our new look Verscato and Vineyard Selection Range to the Manly Food, Wine and Sustainability Festival 2013, for you to taste and  indulge yourself in. We look forward to seeing you there!
