Sports Facilities Committee

This is a Special Purpose Committee, convened by the General Manager, to provide a forum for discussion and recommendation to Manly Council to: 

       §   Oversee, in co-operation with the Manly Warringah Sporting Union, all the sporting activities with which Manly Council is involved so that advice can be provided to the Council on these matters.

         §   Advise Council on the development of a management plan to establish a coherent and comprehensive framework to assist Manly Council to determine:-

                   i.              Funding priorities

                  ii.              Infrastructure and capital works

                  iii.            Maintenance

                  iv.            Investment in new facilities

                   v.        Appropriate level of facilities

                   vi.            Funding opportunities.
