This is a Special Purpose Committee, convened by the General Manager, to provide a forum for discussion and recommendation to Manly Council to:

Act as an advisory body to Council on waste services and education.

Make recommendations to Council, other Committees of Council and the community on a broad range of waste matters identified by the Management Plan, Zero Waste Strategy, Litter Avoidance Strategy and other sources.
In essence, provide advice to Council on strategic direction to ultimately achieve zero waste through best practice waste processes for Council’s consideration.
