Parking & Access

There are various ways of obtaining parking in Manly, from public car parks to on street parking.  Please see the individual web pages as listed below for more detailed information.  You can also download a brochure.

Designated Parking Permits

Manly ratepayers and residents are entitled to apply for Designated Parking Permits. See the Designated Parking Permit webpage for more information, including application forms. 

Permit Parking Schemes

Residents living in eligible properties in the following permit parking areas in Manly are entitled to apply for area parking permits.

Public Car Parks

Council has four car parking stations in the Manly CBD open to the public 7 days a week.  There are also a number of public car parks around the municipality which provide free parking, including disabled parking.

Manly CBD Access

A map showing accessibility features of the Manly CBD has been produced. This "mobility" map is designed for people with diasbilities, as well as pram, scooter and wheelchair users.

RTA Mobility Parking

The RTA manage the mobility parking permit scheme in NSW and people with a mobility (disabled) permit receive various allowances in different parking zones.  Further information on mobility parking permits is available on the RTA's website: www.rta.nsw.gov.au.
