Tourism

Seven miles from Sydney and a thousand miles from care.

So went the slogan used by the Port Jackson & Manly Steamship Company in 1940 to describe “Australia’s Premier Seaside Resort”. Today, Manly is still a major tourism destination with more than 8 million visitors per year. They come from all over Australia and the world, drawn by the many natural attractions, restaurants, shops and cultural events.
