Childrens Services
Manly Council is committed to providing quality child care to better support families and children within the community.
Beginning in 1973 with one Pre-school at Kangaroo Street, Manly Council now provides a full range of Children's services in early learning. 
These services include Family Day Care, Long Day Care, Pre-schools and Immunisation. Council seeks to provide children’s services that maintain:-
• Quality learning and development outcomes.
• Safe and caring environment.
• Service provision in partnership with families.
Funding
Parent Fees and government grants are paid to Council to operate the children’s services within:-
- funding service level agreements
- service standards and regulations
- legislation
Families are responsible for paying their fees on time, however, where families are experiencing extreme financial hardship, Council will consider negotiating a suitable arrangement for the payment process.

Child Protection is Everyone’s Responsibility
