Beginning in 1973 with one Pre-school at Kangaroo Street,  Manly Council now provides a range of Children's services in early learning.
These services include Long Day Care and Pre-schools.  Council seeks to provide children’s services that maintain:-

•    Quality learning and development outcomes.
•    Safe and caring environment.
•    Service provision in partnership with families.

Parent Fees and government grants are paid to Council to operate the children’s services within:-

  • funding service level agreements
  • service standards and regulations
  • legislation

Families are responsible for paying their fees on time, however, where families are experiencing extreme financial hardship, Council will consider negotiating a suitable arrangement for the payment process.
