Making Manly safer for everyone

Manly Council is committed to making the area a safe one in which to work, play, live and visit. Council actions and decisions in planning, urban design and community service provision all have an impact on community safety.

Making Manly safe requires a holistic approach to planning and enforcement and close co-operation with all stakeholders including:-

  • Police
  • Community and Precincts
  • Local Government

Council addresses issues of community safety and has done so through its Crime Prevention Plan. Other council safety initiatives include:-
