Supporting young people in Manly
Manly Council Youth Services provide a variety of services including Family and Adolescent Counselling, Manly Youth Council and other youth programs targeting "at risk" teenagers as well as providing a range of recreational and educational programs for young people.
Manly Youth Council
The Manly Youth Council was established in 1968, the first of its kind in New South Wales.
The Youth Council is run by a representative group of young people and provides an effective forum for young people to express their views, and acts as the coordinating body for youth services in Manly.
Support
The Youth Council is supported by the Community Services Manager and a Youth Development Officer who are employed by Council to manage and supervise a range of programs, events and services for young people.

Keep Them Safe is a five year action plan that focuses on a shared approach to child protection, with the provision of appropriate support to families to enhance child well being and minimize serious risk of harm.
