PUBLIC EXHIBITION – 30 APRIL TO 29 JUNE 2012
Manly Council has drafted two new and comprehensive strategic town planning documents.
Once adopted, the Draft Manly Local Environmental Plan 2011 (MLEP 2011) and the Draft Manly Development Control Plan 2011 (MDCP 2011) will guide all future planning decisions on developments in Manly.
What are the MLEP and MDCP 2011?
The MLEP and MDCP 2011 offers a comprehensive update guiding development in Manly.
They differ from the current MLEP 1988 and DCPs in content, format and terminology. Items include everything from providing guidelines for development, to the protection of environmentally sensitive areas, conservation areas and heritage items. These and more are covered in these two documents.
