Ivanhoe Park Residents Permit Parking Scheme Extension

Note: Permits are valid up to 1 August 2012.

Council is operating a Permit Parking Scheme.  The Scheme allows vehicles displaying a valid permit to park without time restrictions in a street where an “Ivanhoe Park Residents Parking Permit exempt ” sign is displayed.

The resident, either the owner or the tenant of a rateable property within the Scheme are invited to apply for up to three (3) residents’ parking permits (inclusive of 1 permit for a registered trailer).   Additional permits are only granted in exceptional circumstances by written application to the General Manager. 

The number of residents’ permits provided per rateable property will be calculated based on the maximum of three (3) residents’ permits minus the number of off street spaces available within the rateable address.

Off-street parking spaces include spaces within driveways, parking areas, car ports and garages. (For example: an address with a single off-street space would be eligible for up to two (2) residents’ parking permits one of which could be for a trailer).

Occupants of rateable addresses can apply for a residents’ permit for a single trailer provided this trailer is registered with the RTA (such trailers are considered a registered vehicle).

To apply for permits, complete the Ivanhoe Park Residents Permit Parking Extension Application Form and return it to Council, together with your payment and proof of your residency in the Area of the Scheme (see Application Form for details).
