When you join your baby up to Manly Library don't forget to ask for a Manly Library Babes pack.

Baby Bounce & Rhyme

Held on the 1st Wednesday of every month at 10:30 am & 1 pm. Come along for a session catering especially for the 3 -18 month age group. Enjoy sharing songs, & rhymes with your baby in an interactive and stimulating environment. Parent participation & engagement essential.

For Toddlers: 18 to 36 months old

Toddler Time

Held on Mondays at 10:30 am during school term, Toddler time is a programme designed especially for children aged 18 to 36 months. Come along and join this interactive program of singing, actions, rhymes and stories. Parent participation is essential.

For Pre-Schoolers: 3 to 5 years old

Pre-School Storytime

Held every Tuesday and Thursday at 11am during school term. Come along and enjoy stories, songs and craft at Manly Library. No bookings required.

Tumblebook Library

Designed for kids, the TumbleBook Library is an online collection of animated talking picture books. The collection also includes reading comprehension quizzes and educational games.

Green & Groovy

Recycled Art Sessions for boys and girls aged 8-12 held every 3rd wednesday of the month, 4-5pm. Come along to develop your artistic skills and help the environment by transforming unwanted items into unique and useful creations. 2012 programme coming soon - check the Library What's On for dates.

The Wednesday Club

The Wednesday Club meets at Library every Wednesday afternoon from 4-5pm, during school term. The Wednesday Club is designed for ages 8+ and the focus is on playing games, creating art, enjoying crafts, watching movies on the big screen, holding Wii competitions, listening to music, conducting book talks and enjoying snacks. Best of all it's FREE!

Every third Wednesday of the month the Wednesday Club participates in the Green and Groovy recycled art sessions.

Premiers Reading Challenge

Premiers Reading challenge runs every year from February to September.

Summer Reading Club

The Summer Reading Club runs from December through to February each year, you can register at the Library and participation is simple.

  • Read anything you LIKE! Books, magazines, Graphic Novels, Zines or listen to audio books.
  • List everything you read on your record sheet.
  • Join in the competitions.
