Adobe Digital editions

To use the Libraries eBook and eAudio collections you will need to have Adobe Digital Editions installed to transfer ebooks to your device, and an Adobe ID to authenticate your PC and mobile devices. download Adobe digital editions from http://www.adobe.com/products/digitaleditions/ and sign up for an Adobe ID at http://www.adobe/membership.

Overdrive eAudiobooks & eBooks

The Shorelink Digital Library offers you the Overdrive service to bring you over 100 eAudiobooks & eBooks from a range of best selling fiction titles and popular authors.

Required Software

Overdrive media console www.overdrive.com/software/omc/  is available for desktop and mobile platforms. Check the compatability page to see which devices are able to use the service.

Registration

Simply use your library card number and PIN (last 4 digits of your card by default).

Searching

Browse for popular, new, and returned    titles, or search by preferred format . You can search by title, subject and author.

Borrowing

Items can be selected by add to cart, then proceeding to checkout when ready to download. Titles are loaned for 7 to 14 days each. You can borrow 3 items at a time.  Once borrowed click download and open the link in the popup window if you are on a PC or MAC. eAudio books open in the media console, where you can select what parts you wish to download. This can be done anytime during the loan period.

Reserving

If an item is on loan and you can reserve titles by selecting add me to the waiting list, entering you Library details and nominating an email address where you notified when ready. You have 72 hours in which you need to borrow the item before your reservation expires.

EBL eBooks

EBL is an eBook service with  over 16,000  titles available in fiction, non-fiction and also some foreign languages.

Required software

Blufire www.bluefirereader.com/ to read ebooks on Android and iOS devices.

Registration

You will need to sign up as a library member to access the collection. Sign up at

www.shorelink.eblib.com.au/patron/CreateAccount.aspx and you will get an email when your account is ready.

Searching

You can browse the collection by keyword, and break down you searches by year published, language, and subject.

Borrowing

Titles need to be viewed online before downloading, and after 10 minutes of viewing online you will be asked to borrow. You can choose either PDF and/or ePUB format, with loan periods of 1 to 4 or 1 to 7 days, depending on title. When on a PC click download and select open in the popup window to view the item.

Renewals and Returns

You wont be able to renew or return borrowed eBooks, but you can download them again once they expire. You need to delete your previous download titles as your rights to open then will have expired.

Tumblebook Library

The TumbleBook Library is an online collection of animated, talking picture books in English and other languages. The Learning Language books include a "Tumble Word Helper" which gives the pronunciation and translation of selected words in the story. The TumbleBook Library also includes reading comprehension quizzes, and educational games. Click on the link above for access. Access is also available from home.
