Manly Jazz Festival

The Manly Jazz Festival is a major community and tourism event on the Australian annual jazz calendar and takes place in the heart of Manly between Manly Wharf and picturesque Manly Beach.
Up to 45,000 jazz enthusiasts from Sydney and NSW, interstate and overseas flock to Manly to experience this landmark music Festival.
Artist submissions
We are currently taking submissions from artists who would like to be part of the 35th Manly Jazz Festival.
Submissions will be accepted from 1 February – 30 June 2012 and must meet the criteria set below. You will need to submit material and information even if you have applied and performed at the Festival in the past.
Please note: due to the large number of applications we are unable to return material sent in for consideration.
The Manly Jazz Festival strives to present a mix of both established and new artists and the 2011 Program is attached for your information.

Submission criteria
To be considered, all submissions must include the following information:
- Recording – CD (CD & case must be clearly labeled) (or) link to your website (or) link to your Myspace page. (VHS & DVD recordings will be not accepted.)
- Biography.
- Contact information: name of contact person, phone number - mobile and landline, mailing address, email address, website details.
- List of all band members names (where possible).
Submission status
You will be contacted by email within two weeks of your submission to confirm receipt of your application.
The Manly Jazz Festival is a major event on the NSW events calendar and as such is very popular amongst artists. Not all artists who apply are successful in securing a place in the program. Due to the popularity of this event, and the overwhelming interest from artists, we unfortunately do not have the resources to offer feedback on individual submissions.
Those artists who are successful will be contacted by 31 July 2012.
Only those artists who are being considered for the program will be contacted.
